How goes it today? Not much of a day off when I’m waiting for work to call me in, but that’s life. What’re people up to?

So far so good. Woke up ti re d. Got hungry early so ate leftover capellini and meat sauce at 9am while my kid was eating breakfast. Currently a bit bored, and somehow still hungry. Kiddo should be going for a nap in an hour or so at which point I’ll probably fire up the turntables and quietly practice my cuts. May bring him for a bike ride later if the weather holds out and I don’t get too lazy, otherwise I’ll probably turn on the speakers and spin a bit. Undecided if it’ll be house or jungle today. Hmm,maybe happy hardcore. Guess we’ll see how she goes.

I’m in beautiful downtown Lampman Saskatchewan. Servici ng truck #8 for the eighth time. Lampman is in a GPS black hole (so is Estevan) so even google maps doesn’t really work here. I can cram a square peg in a round hole, but it doesn’t solve the problem.

“Downtown” might be exaggerating.

Navigation shouldn’t be too difficult. Depending on which direction you’re coming from you just make a quick turn at Regina. Then head towards this guy.

I know how to drive to L ampman, my D odge could drive there by itself if it could shift it’s o wn gears. T he problem is, the global positioning system can’t find Lampman, or anything in the area. Unless you enter an Estevan address into google maps, then gps sends you to Lampman. It’s in some kind of wormhole, possibly involving Gozer.

most efficient way to see Saskatchewan: Stand on a chair.

“within the geographical town limits” just doesn’t roll off the tongue quite as well

If you take this literally, given from corner to corner Saskatchewa n is about 820 miles, you would need a chair about 21 miles tall to see from corner to corner due to the Earth’s curvature .
I was actually surprise how high you would need to be.

It’s not even that flat. It is where I live in the Regina area. Like Bonneville salt flats flat. If you can’t actually see the curve of the earth, standing on a (regular) chair would probably do it.
